The “real” story behind fake breasts, cleaVage is a laugh-out-loud musical comedy inspired by the doctors and patients who shaped the spectacular rise, fall, and rebound of silicone gel breast implants.

 

cleaVage (aka “Hamilton with Breasts” - Texas Monthly) was conceived by Dallas plastic surgeon Ron Friedman in 2019 and rounded out with co-writer Laura Goodenow in 2022. Now, the little-known history of breast implants reaches larger-than-life proportions through song and dance. It’s an origin story, a love story, an underdog story—and a dog story, all stuffed into two acts.
